School Holidays Blue Mountains Day Tour

Full details

Australia is one of the most amazing countries in the world and when international tourists arrive, the Blue Mountains is one of the main attractions that people love to visit. Since we started our business locals have been calling for a tour for them and that’s why we have created our ‘local’ Blue Mountains Day Tour. This will operate on selected days only during the July school holidays which is perfect for families to plan ahead for a day of adventure.

Let’s tell you why we are the number one choice for people around the world!

  • Our tour guides are all local and know the Mountains well. They talk about the history of the Blue Mountains, how they were formed, how the explorers crossed the Mountains back in 1813 and how our country began.
  • Our meeting place is Cafe 2773 at 6:50am. Yes it’s early but we have a busy day ahead and it’s important you’re there on time. On arrival you will meet your Blue Mountains Day Tour team member where you can order your tea, coffee or hot chocolate. This is included in your tour price. All drinks must be consumed before our departure at 7:30am. Under NSW law no hot liquids or food can be permitted on passenger buses. Unfortunately we will not be able to wait beyond 7:30am for late arrivals.
  • After departure your tour guide will share the stories of the Blue Mountains.
  • We show you stunning cliff faces and waterfalls and show you the original road built by convicts that stands today as a window into an era long gone but not forgotten. You’ll also get to ride on all three magnificent rides at Scenic World, including the world’s steepest railway!
  • This is a day of story telling, magical views and for some a trip back in time, for others you’ll learn something new and as international tourists have been doing for years, cherish your day with us forever.
  • Following your guided tour of Scenic World you will then enjoy a sit down lunch which includes a choice of 4 meals and a glass of either red or white wine, beer, soft drink or tea/coffee.
  • We return to your starting point of Glenbrook between 3:30 and 4pm.
  • People from around the world, for many years have clearly stated on our consecutive 5 star trip advisor reviews that our tour is the ‘best tour’ they have ever been on and ‘this tour offers the best value for money’. Every tourist deserves a day in the Blue Mountains to be an experience, they will never forget and our unique, energetic and professional guides put on a show that you will remember forever. Our business is owned by Graham Chapman, his mates call him Chapo and locals may also know him for his years of service to the community through community sport, volunteer fire-fighting, business and his popular online site Memories of Penrith and surrounding suburbs. You can follow Chapo on his you tube channel ‘chapo down under’ or on our facebook or instagram sites bluemountainstoursaus. He understands people and knows the importance of ensuring that every day that the business operates he and his team must put on the greatest show possible. The stage is set so book our tour today that has been designed for locals.

  • NOTE: A child is deemed to be up to and including 12 years of age. Children must be accompanied by a paying adult. If any guest fails to attend on the day they have booked no refunds will apply. It’s important you arrive at our meeting point at 6:50am as we need to order your tea/coffee/hot chocolate and have you ready to board our bus for a 7:30am departure.

We look forward to showing you the world heritage listed Blue Mountains.
