This day we discover the Blue Mountains with Graham was really one of the greatest experience I have done. I used to travel a lot as airline pilot, saw and meet a lots of places and local people, but Graham made our experience, outstanding.\nHe is such a character and a lovely person. We just fell in love with these magic blue mountains and Australia. As soon as we are back in Sydney, I will definitely do it again with you Chapo.

Hayden was our guide on a one day tour of the Blue Mountains. He explained so much about the area. His love of the Blue Mountains is palpable. The area is so beautiful. The time was very well spent and there was enough information but we were not overloaded. There was a good mix of sight seeing and story telling. Breakfast and lunch was provided. The group size – 18 – was perfect.

This tour was amazing it was absolutely one of the best tours I have ever been on. It’s very clear as to why this tour company is so highly recommended by the 5 star hotels. The blue mountains are beautiful, the zoo in the afternoon was cuteness overload. We got up nice and close to the koalas and kangeroos.

Four Seasons (wait at the rear of the hotel on Harrington Street opposite the convenience store) no later than 7am ready for on-boarding and departure at 7:15am.

NB: Our business is the number one tour group in NSW for a reason and efficiency is a big reason why we won the NSW Tourism Association 2024 GOLD award. Yes. Chapman Tours knows how important it is to get a magical photo with a Koala and see the beauty of the Kangaroo. A professional Koala photo is at your expense however you are more than welcome to take as many photos with your own camera. There are no professional photos available with Kangaroos however you can take as many as you want with your own camera.

Should you tip your tour guide/driver?

What should I wear?

This is a common question. During the cooler months between May to August we have cool to cold mornings in the Mountains. From September the weather is warming and often we have warm days from September – April. Our summer months are December, January and February. We say it’s always advisable to either bring a jumper/jacket in the cooler months. The warmer months shorts and casual clothing is probably the best advice. Always wear comfortable shoes. Always check the weather online the day before. Search Katoomba and Penrith weather not Sydney.

Are you Wheelchair compatible?

Unfortunately our our large coaches are not wheelchair compatible however we partner with a very reputable business that specialises in wheelchair transfers. We don’t want anyone missing out on the chance to see the Blue Mountains so if you are fully reliant on a wheelchair email us at bookings@chapmantours.com.au or you can message us on WhatsApp 24/7 on +61 414 011252. Our private Wheelchair tours are available subject to availability.

Can we bring collapsible wheelchairs and prams?

On our large coach tour YES you can bring your collapsible wheelchairs and prams. Be advised that you CANNOT bring either of these onto the Scenic Railway at Scenic World under the NSW transport act.

Can we have hot coffee/tea on our tour

Unfortunately Transport for NSW rules clearly state that no food or drinks are permitted on public passenger vehicles. This is health and safety issue. Imagine if there was an accident and everyone had a hot coffee so this rule is commonsense. No guests will be permitted to enter the bus whilst having takeaway drinks. Water only is permitted.

How long are we in the Blue Mountains for?

You will arrive in the upper Blue Mountains at 8:45am. Your day will include time at Echo Point and Scenic World. Your departure will be from Scenic World at 1pm. You will arrive at the wildlife park at 2:30pm. Departure from the wildlife park will be 4pm. Arrival back in Sydney at 4:30pm.
