From Spokane, Washington to the Blue Mountains

G’day from the heart of the Blue Mountains! Today, we had the privilege of hosting Ian, Leslie, and their daughter Caitlin from Spokane, Washington, on a private Blue Mountains Day Tour for a family to celebrate Caitlin’s graduation. This family was seeking a unique adventure to mark this special milestone, and we were thrilled to help them create lasting memories.

Our journey began with a visit to Scenic World. Mick, our yarn-spinning storyteller and tour guide, spoke about the geological wonders of the region. From the breathtaking Three Sisters to the cascading waterfalls, the family was captivated by the Blue Mountains’ natural beauty.

But Mick had a special surprise in store. Knowing the significance of this trip, he took the family to the iconic Carrington Hotel in Katoomba, a heritage-listed gem and Australia’s oldest resort-style hotel. The hotel’s grandeur and its rich history added an extra layer of charm to the family’s Blue Mountains experience. This is an example of the extra personal touch we provide on our private day tours.

After a delicious lunch, the adventure continued at Featherdale Wildlife Park. The family had the opportunity to get up close and personal with Australia’s adorable wildlife. Getting up close with koalas and feeding kangaroos brought smiles to everyone’s faces, capping off an unforgettable day.

At Blue Mountains Day Tours, we understand that every journey is unique. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or simply seeking an escape into Australia’s most beautiful region, we’re here to tailor the perfect experience for you. Join us on a private tour and discover the magic of the Blue Mountains!
