The Blue Mountains Day Tour in winter cast a unique spell, with crisp air, sunlight, and a cozy atmosphere that warms the souls of all our international travellers. On today’s tour, our guests experienced this enchanting side of the mountains firsthand.
Led by our yarn-spinning guide, Mick, the group bundled up and ventured into the crisp mountain air in the Scenic Valley at Scenic World. As they wandered through the rainforest, the sun’s rays slowly came through the trees. Though the chill was undeniable, the clear skies offered breathtaking views, adding to the authentic Blue Mountains experience. As the day continued, the group explored the rest of Scenic World, witnessing the dramatic cliffs and cascading waterfalls of the Jamison Valley. The winter weather added nicely to the landscape, with mist on the valleys and a crispness in the air.
To warm up and foster good vibes, Mick led the group to the historic Carrington Hotel in Katoomba. This grand dame of the Blue Mountains, with its colonial architecture and cozy vibe, provided the perfect relaxation spot from the winter chill.
Here, our international group of travellers got to know each other. Amy and Jenny, a couple from Boston, shared stories of their American adventures, while Sebastian, Antonella, and Slavica from Switzerland marvelled at the unique beauty of the Australian landscape. Gunawan from Indonesia, found warmth and comfort in the hotel’s welcoming atmosphere.
