The 2025 Sydney Marathon’s milestone entry into the World Marathon Majors was brilliantly executed. It blended elite athletic excellence with deep community engagement and meaningful charitable impact. From soaring world-class performances to quirky costume runs and heartwarming fundraising stories, the event truly embodied the spirit of sport and solidarity.
At Chapman Tours we were solidly booked for the fortnight before and the week after the Sydney Marathon and typical of business owner Chapo and his personal touch he encouraged all guests to send in their bib numbers so he could track them. He was there on the day in the thick of it filming and tracking his guests. As a marathon and ultra marathon runner himself he embraced the people that he met on their tour to the Blue Mountains.
