Meet Eric who works at Scenic World and is a great supporter of our Blue Mountains Day Tour. On a recent private Blue Mountains tour I bumped into Eric on a walking trail, and he had just seen one of Australia’s most venomous snakes. The snake was a little sleepy after a long cold winter. The Australian Copperhead can be deadly to human beings so best to leave them alone as you would with all snakes. Provocation will cause the Copperhead snake to lash out and bite. The venom is powerful, and a bite may be potentially fatal without medical assistance. If you are out on our trails, always look ahead and if you see a snake leave it alone. By the time I got there you can barely see it as it slithered for cover which was totally ok with us. Our American tourists couldn’t believe it and will never ever forget their Blue Mountains Private Day Tour.
