Chapo spots a rare wombat in the Blue Mountains National Park

February 28, 2019

This morning as Chapo was searching for the wild kangaroos to introduce to our international guests in the beautiful Blue Mountains, he came across this truly special sight.  A wild wombat, eating some last minute dinner before heading home to their hole for the day. We see the evidence of these nocturnal creatures every day but it is an extremely rare experience to be able to see one in the daylight. This is a great example of the unique wildlife that surrounds us in the Blue Mountains national park as we enjoy our unique ‘Breakfast with the kangaroos‘ every morning.

Not often you see this once the sun comes up.
